Santoro's Pizzeria Italiana

Sitting here waiting for my pizza to cool down a bit. It smells delicious. Great little place. Some very cool art work on the walls--quaint. Offers takeout and dine in service, and of course delivery. Super friendly folks who went out of their way to be helpful. Worth a visit.

Get here ASAP -- just had a pizza with a roasted garlic sauce, pine nuts (?), pancetta, gorgonzola, and other toppings -- totally unique pie and the crust was about as perfect as can be. I also had a meatball calzone and it was top notch, as was the tomato sauce. I can't wait to try this place again.

Consistently great. We recently returned to the area this summer and spent many Fridays trying to find our new go-to pizza place, rotating among the many choices in the Mount Lebanon / Castle Shannon area. Although we've enjoyed some other places, each time we try another place I'm a little sad that we went another Friday without Santoro's. If you want Neapolitan style thin crust pizza, in our opinion, Santoro's is the best in the area. Best crust. Best sauce. Best toppings. As a bonus, we order online and the time estimates are always spot on. Thanks for what you do, Santoro's!
