Sankyu Sushi Japanese Restaurant

This is five star place, unassuming, but very good Japanese restaurant! Special sashimi dish is not quite similar to omakase, but fresh and delicious, nevertheless. Rainbow roll was not the best, but definitely worth ordering. Nigiri were up to high standards of freshness too Good selection of sake, friendly and efficient service. Judging by several Japanese patrons, frequenting this place, it is more authentic restaurant than most in the suburbs. I've been there many years ago, and it is still going strong. Glad we made it back to Sankyu. It started as Izakaya, but we came there for sashimi and Nigiri, and we were not disappointed. Prices are reasonable too

Izakaya style (Japanese Tavern, Tapas). The most enjoyable restaurant experience for me but sometimes intimidating. You need at least hour and a half here. Restaurant offers a massive amount of food and drinks, ton of sakes, beers and Japanese single malt whiskeys from low to hi-end. Food from $5 to $40 per plate such as cook, raw, sushi, noodles, hotpot or bowl. Restaurant offers two different type of sitting from Japanese tatami room to western style. What you need to do here first is the order a bottle of beer or sake and spend some time with the menu. Order two to three dishes at the time and enjoy.

Outstanding experience. House sake is the best I've tasted. Good Japanese beer selection. Delicious food. We've had a variety of appetizers; sushi; ramen and dessert. Everything was great. Service is also fantastic. Will be back
