Sandra's on the Park

We had a small dinner after my moms funeral and used the room downstairs. the food was excellent and so was the service. I am so glad that I chose Sandras. We will definitely eat there again

I don’t like putting in bad reviews but this was something I felt needed to be said. This was a few weeks ago. My husband and I love to try new places. We live around the area and had heard good things. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in our visit. We were the only couple of color that night. We did not feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The supervisor or manager for the night made us feel like a burden when we asked for a table of 2. We were sat at the bar while they tried to figure out seating for us. Even though half of the room was empty and never filled up as we were there most of the evening. Our serve seemed more preoccupied with his other tables than with us as service took longer than expected. The food was subpar. Both my husband and I work in the food industry. The food we were served had the same look and taste of year one culinary students hosting their first big dinner. Overcooked and bland with some sauce artfully thrown on the plate to make it look

Not a good experience. Was rushed throughout our meal. She put the check down during our meal. I was eating still and she cleared my husbands plate and asked if we wanted dessert While I was still eating dinner. Seriously?? I was rushed!!! She didn’t ask if we wanted more beverages when we had empty glasses. Now let me say this coming from an experienced person that has worked in this industry for many years. Never rush your customers just to turn over tables for an xtra buck. I go out to enjoy my time off and fully expect a class act dining experience. Nothing less. We won’t return here because of the poor service in what is clearly supposed to be a better upscale restaurant as it is displayed. I couldn’t enjoy my time for feeling like we were a quick turnover. So disappointed. Agh
