Sam's southern eatery

Tried for the 1st time today and highly recommend. The food was fantastic. I got my shrimp grilled and my fish fried both were good. Next time I’m going to do all grilled because it was so yummy. Seasoned to perfection. The coleslaw is homemade and is good. Grilled onions on plate melt in your mouth. Been wanting to try and glad I did. Portion size is large, have dinner for tonight

Don't let the fact that the location used to be a Long John Silver's deter you. Sam's has their own take on seafood selling fresh hot cook to order catfish at an affordable price! Make note where the menu says fish it's still a whole catfish fillet. Would definitely recommend giving Sam's a try if you want some fried seafood that won't make you feel super heavy or sluggish afterwards and tastes good!

A really good Sam's if you have tried it elsewhere. While I have had a hard time finding a Sam's that is consistent, this place has been great every time I have eaten here. You can tell the owners really take care of business. If you aren't familiar with this restaurant, it's a catfish and cajun restaurant, where you can get an amazing po'boy sandwich, some gumbo, or a mix of well seasoned catfish, shrimp, and chicken. The cajun tarter sauce really tops it off. The portions are big and full of flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
