Enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive and courteous. The food was good. The service was good The atmosphere was good

If 2.5 stars was available, that would be my selection. I really wanted Sammy's to be the same quality experience we had regularly experienced, pre-pandemic times. On the positive side, our waiter (Keenan) was refreshing and very down to earth. Definitely not a polished waiter with years of experience but in return he seemed genuinely sincere in his mannerism and effort to meet our needs as guests. One of the meals of our party came out ten minutes after the others, and whether his fault or the kitchen's, he personally apologized and took blame as if it was his failure - although I question if it was really his fault versus that of the kitchen's. Now for the not so satisfying; We sat outside in the covered patio area, and the copious amounts of big, aggressive flies, and I mean a lot of them (3-5 flies per person), was intolerable. It literally ruined the entire dinner experience, and no stellar food quality could make up for the nuisance and feeling of disgust. Sammy's needs to

22-07 Probably 5 stars. My first visit. I picked up a phone ordered pizza. Staff helpful. Pizza great. Ambiance - open, bright, plenty of parking, clean. I plan on returning -- for a dine-in.
