Salsas Cocina Oviedo

Just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant! I grew up in Denver so had a plethora of local, authentic and quality Mexican restaurants. Not so much in Orlando. This was fantastic! I have always endured Mexican rice as a necessary evil, but this rice was light, flavorable and not overly salty. Was that a hint of clove in my black beans? Meat was marinated and grilled to savory perfection. Was it really loud? Yes. Next time we will sit outside. But my wife is a good cook and if I need quiet I will eat at home. When I go out, I want to be wowed by the food. I was wowed. Wish we could have met the Chef!

First time at Salsas Cocina. Very pleased with our selections: Tamales and Nacho Cheese Burrito. Prices are reasonable and service was prompt and courteous. Will go back.

My family and I love Salsa's in Oviedo. The food is perfectly seasoned and truly delicious. Just this past weekend we took my in laws who were in town visiting and they fell in love. They live in Miami and despite all the restaurants located there, they said they could not find a Mexican restaurant as delicious as Salsa's. The decor and ambience is also really nice. Our server Josue was very friendly and demonstrated great patience with all my Father-in-Laws questions regarding the menu. He made some great suggestions that my in laws loved. Next time we go we will definitely love to be seated in his area.
