Sakura Chaya Clovis

My family and I came here for my birthday and it was a great experience. Our chef was amazing; very entertaining and had a lot of jokes for the kids which made them happy. I will definitely be back when in Clovis.

Food was good, I’m just kinda getting hung up on the lack of cleanliness. We had the teppanyaki dinner service. The hot plate on which the food was cooked still had bits of food from the previous cook (our cook did good job wiping the hot plate down before beginning though) and the area where the cook stands had food morsels as well. I’m starting to wonder if A this normal for this type of restaurant or B we just haven’t been to great teppanyaki restaurant just yet? All in all, we are kinda getting turned off of teppanyaki restaurants.
