Extremely disappointing experience. We’ve been coming to Sake for years and suggested meeting some out of town guests there today. 4 adults and 4 kids - one of which a 2 year old who only ate noodles. The prices on line don’t match the very high lunch prices on their menu, so be aware of that. It was very quiet there on a Saturday afternoon and I could soon see why - Lunch hibachi prices in the $20’s. It would have been fine if there was even a mediocre amount of entertainment to the meal but the whole experience fell completely flat. The chef seemed uncomfortable like he didn’t want to be there, going through the motions of the required parts of the meal. At one point he picked up something to scrape the grill and it was full of black caked on food and grease which he proceeded to try to scrape off in the middle of cooking our lunch, which was revolting. When he noticed what he was doing and likely our shocked faces, he continued to scrape it off under the table. The food was meh,
We felt welcome and comfortable immediately! They were great with our kids and wonderful with our adults!
We tried it first time and really like lettue wrap, sate and chicken and shrimp hibachi
