We ordered butter chicken (my daughter’s fav dish and she can make it herself from scratch but we are on holiday) and tandoori chicken with chana masala. The butter chicken was sweet (ewww) which was probably tweaked to local taste but does not pass the authenticity meter. The naans were circular - I guess that doesn’t affect the taste but well, naans are usually irregular in shape. The tandoori chicken was better but the chana masala was cold - like it was served from the fridge and not heated up. I would not order from this restaurant again. For what it is, we’ve overpaid.

I got the gyro wrap and palak paneer this time, but have gotten other stuff in the past. Quite frankly, the Indian food I’ve experienced outside of my relatives’ houses and the NY Indian/Pakistani food scene has been subpar. Huge emphasis on foods I did not eat growing up (looking at you Butter Chicken). Walked into Sacrificial Lamb and it reminded me of the hole in the wall restaurants back home. I loved it and it made feel at home. My naan gyro wrap and palak paneer were delicious. Will have to try some of my other childhood favorites.

Friendly staff, decent vegetarian Indian food. Need to return to try their lamb kabob/wrap.
