RUTA TAINA

Finally got to try Ruta Taina and holy smokes they DID NOT disappoint! I got their shrimp mofongo and let me tell you this is the first mofongo I've had since visiting Puerto Rico that was this amazing and comparable to what I had on the island! Nice and moist, delicious shrimp and their garlic sauce was muy delicioso! My husband got the Steak burrifongo (which I stole a few bites from) and also absolutely delicious! I can't believe the best Puerto Rican food I've had in since visiting the Island itself is here in St Cloud! We also got their passion fruit lemonade as well as the coconut lemonade and they're fresh, favorful and HUGE! We will definitely be back and often!

Went to this Puertorrican restaurant after visiting family in the area, since we saw the good reviews decided to try it. It was almost close time, and we don’t usually like going to places right before they close because they tend to be rude or the food is cold. Still my husband, daughter and I went inside and it was the best choice. We were treated amazing, they owner is very sweet and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious, and my 15 month old daughter loved the rice! (The owner gifted us a side of rice for my baby ). The place was very clean and the mango juice was so refreshing. I recommend this place, its a gem. Next time we travel to St. Cloud will be going back! Kid-friendliness: Highchair availability and space

Where to begin? This place was recommended to me a few months ago and I swore to check it out the next time I came to town. I finally made it! ???? This humble eatery packs huge flavors. I brought my mother and daughter along. They both ordered a tripleta jibarito and I, a chicken burrifongo. It was love at first bite. We washed it all down with a coconut lemonade and a passion fruit lemonade. The portions were more than generous. The service was great and super friendly.
