Rusticas Chicken

BEWARE they add 20% tip onto every bill and they don’t tell you. Our server was horrible at best she maybe deserved 5%. If it wasn’t for my wife, I would have upped and left. Causa de Pollo was horrible. The potato was falling apart like dry sand. I returned it. For the main I ordered Aji de Gallina which was a 7 out of 10. My main issue with it was the portion was so small. My wife ordered the Lomo Saltado which she said the fries in the entree were not good. She is now complaining about a stomach ache. I’d probably not chime back. Living in the area we have 4 Peruvian restaurants in a 4-5 mile radius. 3 of them we love so that’s that.

They are hiring for servers. The young man is obviously new to the game. I ordered chicken with rice and I don't like fries so they allowed me to swap for house salad. Beans were sold separately. The drink Passion fruit was too sweet & watery. Chicken was extremely thin and lightly breaded. I ordered fried Yuca delicious. Garlic sauce was not an option. Hot sauce is incredibly delicious packs a punch. Food was good over all. Beans were not hot slightly warm. The gratuity was forced upon you and waiter never said anything. If you don't notice you pay tips twice. Over all the food on the menu in my professional experience is over priced. In summary I have to say everyone should try this place at least once.

Stopped by for lunch. The lunch menu had some great choices and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food we ordered was delicious
