RUMA’S DELI & RESTAURANT

The service was ok. The waitress did a quick walk by but didn’t bother to ask how everything was, probably because she knew. The grits were pure water, the scrambled eggs and bacon tasted like they’d been cooked on a griddle that hadn’t been cleaned since the Reagan administration. And since I sat right in front of the kitchen I could smell the disgusting thing. There were little pieces of black gristle on the eggs and bacon. ???? I honestly hope I don’t get sick. I went here because online their prices seemed like a great value, of course they went up, but the food was definitely not worth it. This was my first and last visit.

Service was outstanding. Our server and everyone that works there was worth five stars or more, just fantastic regarding the service. The food came out fast and was good. Room for improvement on the food, but we enjoyed it and will return.

My breakfast and waffle was not under cooked. I decided to get toast instead of a new waffle because I did not want my guest to wait. I asked if they could take something off the bill and they refused because they said we stayed there too long and they offered to get me another waffle Would it have killed them to take $2 off a an $11 bill for 2 undercooked sausages and scrambled egg. I guess so. Worst customer service ever. No apology. Very rude and argued with me over staying in the restaurant too long! It was not even crowded. I’m not one to complain or write a bad review but if I could give them a Zero I would. I live in the area and will be sure to spread the word to not go there!
