Very disappointed. Atmosphere and presentation is great, however the quality is below average and cocktails are more than disappointing, we couldn’t finish their Peruvian sangria, it was that bad (no fruity flavor and a wine base, very sweet artificial syrupy taste). Their torch salmon sushi and crispy rock shrimps sushis were ok. Octopus wok was the best we tried and the wafu steak was very dull. Overall, very disappointing experience.
Saw this place on Instagram and knew I had to check it out! The allure of traditional Japanese artwork transports you through an exquisite dining journey supported by a limited yet inviting menu of offerings and an exceptionally helpful staff. On top of this, the five star presentation doesn't come with a heavier burden on your wallet, as I found menu items suitable to any price range. But, when it came to flavor, there was nothing cheap about it. High level presentation you would expect from an upscale restaurant, complimented by exceedingly appetizing culinary mastery. Hands down the best restaurant I've visited in the downtown Boston area.
Everything about this place was great. The sushi/fish/meat was all very fresh and tasted great. I highly recommend the pork yakisoba and the yucca fritters. The drinks were also fantastic and not too strong nor weak. The ambiance is super cool with a dark but colorful aesthetic. 10/10 recommend this place, I'll be going back soon!
