Ruby Tuesday

Not sure how they have a 4 star review. Service was OK, not above and beyond. Food, well terrible. This is a pic of a ribeye cooked at medium! Save your money and go across the interstate to the better restaurants!

If I could give zero stars I would. Long but worth the read, would hate for another family to have to go through the same thing. When we first arrived we were greeted and the manager (Manny), was already kind of rude. Said our waitress Lily would be right over to get our drinks. While waiting for Lily to greet us we tried to wave down Manny to ask about what kind of alcohol they sold, he didn’t approach us. Lily arrived shortly after as we stopped her to ask about the liquor, she then proceeded with how she would be our waitress. We then proceed to order our drinks. She didn’t seem interactive with us right off the bat, you could tell her mind wasn’t on our table as she was asking us about our drinks. We ordered the drinks, she brought those to us fairly quickly. We also ordered the $15 appetizer, she told us she would put that order in as soon as she went back to the computer. I had an early dinner today at the Des Moines Ruby Tuesday's. It was the best overall dining out experience I have had in a long time. The salad bar was deliciously fresh and the soup was hot and tasty. Best of all was the service I received from Michael. He was very friendly and laid-back, yet really on top of my needs. What a nice guy. Thank you for this great meal experience.
