RP's Fine Food & Drink

Intimate Sports bar/ pub atmosphere. I had the veggie wrap and my husband had the cob salad, both delicious. We also splurged for lime cheesecake and choc mousse cake, yum. Reasonably priced, fast and friendly. We happened to get lucky and be there when singer Trevor Tanners was playing. He plays an electrictrified acoustic guitar, sings and is accompanied by a great base player. We stayed for 2 hours just to listen, they were awesome!

First time here. Really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. With a name like RP's Fine Food, I was a little skeptical, but my selections today were excellent. I was surprised to see the sashito peppers appetizer and had to have them. Big portion, definitely needed someone to share them with, but now I have the rest to go with my dinner. Also ordered the special Blackened Fish Unicorn Casino Sandwich. Unusual name, right? They didn't tell me the fish, but it was served with melted cheese, bacon and scallions, Of course I had it without a bun and traded the fries for slaw so I can't vouch for the fries. The slaw was just ok, but I jazzed it up with sliced Sashito peppers. YEAH BABY! The fish was awesome. Nice beer selection and my beers were cold.

I do agree with the person who said RPs deletes most of the negative reviews! They do have some special menu items that are worth trying, but most of the food there is mediocre and yes, greasy. I have noticed that the management seems to be so stressed out that they are borderline rude. I ate there once and got extremely sick, and they had no compassion whatsoever, to the point where at first they did not even believe me and I had to prove it (which I did)! WHAT happened to good customer service?? I never went back after that! Way too many other choices to have to deal with rudeness and maybe compromised food!!
