Royal Bourbon Chicken

I absolutely love this place! The Bourbon chicken is the best I’ve had and so affordable. Every person I have encountered is so very friendly and make me feel welcome. This is a new favorite for me. If you haven’t tried it yet, do it. Don’t let negative reviews sway you. Anyone can have an off day. I have NEVER experienced that here. In my experience it’s a welcoming and friendly environment.

This place is utter garbage. The bourbon chicken is good, but when I tried the salmon filet, it was overcooked to the point that I couldn't even bite into it. I tried to get a redelivery or refund on it, and Doordash wouldn't even do that. The philly cheesecake is okay, the funnel cake was not. Unless you're getting the standard bourbon chicken with rice and veg or even potatoes, this place falls short. The salmon was a rip off.

The food was delicious, hot, and the portions were very generous! Neither my husband or I got through half our order of bourbon chicken. We took left overs home. HOWEVER. The dining room was a mess! Trash was over flowing. Tables were dirty and the lobby floor was so filthy our shoes were sticking to the floor. While we were there another customer returned his food to the counter with a complaint and the workers proceeded to argue with the man. (They did refund his money) That being said, they continued to loudly bad mouth this customer after he left. I thought it to be very unprofessional. It kind of ruined my want to return. Which is sad because again. The food was fantastic. I’m hoping we just went on an off day as this was our first time and we had heard great things about this place.
