Beautiful location smack dab in Rittenhouse Square. What really stood out here was the service. The manager took amazing care of us after we came in straight from the airport: he offered to put our luggage in his office, and even sent us a free round of drinks! Espresso martinis were excellent, as was the burger. Only word of caution is to avoid sitting outside right by the street, as traffic is only a couple feet away and can feel like it’s right in your face (and your ears). But to be clear, not the restaurant’s fault in any way, just have some common sense about where you sit!
The area is ideal because if you sit outside you have a view of the Ritten House Square Park & can take a stroll after dinner. The waiter was nice and the interior was pretty. We got the shoshito peppers, which by themselves were fine, but the dressing or dipping sauce reminded me of spicy thousand island. The chicken sandwich, which we took off half the bread, and the burger. The... Burger... Here is where I felt betrayed. It's highlighted as "the best burger in the city, the best burger I've had" and I wonder if these people know what a burger should taste like. The key to cooking is not always all the extras, but simply salt. The bur
