We are absolutely SMITTEN with this cozy little spot! Kamryn took excellent care of us for dinner and the food was amazing but the ambiance of the restaurant was icing on the cake! From the chic historical architecture to the fabulous art throughout the building and the mural in the dining room to the charm of the staff, everything was such a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come try their brunch!
This is a little lower score than it likely deserves, but I think it is reflective of the experience. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The service was prompt and very friendly. And, the food was very good as well. The reason for the low score is the back of the house seems to have issues. It took us about 2 hours to get entrees. We did start with drinks and appetizers, but it was over an hour from the time we ordered our entrees until the food arrived. Our server and the manager did all they could to make up for it, but you just can't cover up issues in the back. The other thing I would say is that the prices are a bit high for what it is and compared to other similar restaurants nearby. Where most restaurants like this would have most entrees is the $30s with seafood and steaks pushing into the $40s. I would say that most things here are in the $40s with seafood and steaks into the $50s. Add in some wine and appetizers and you are looking at $200/couple. It's not astrono
I had the pleasure of dining here in a Friday evening, party of 2. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation time, there was only 2 other parties there at the time. We settled into our table and ordered a drink. 1st red flag it took 10 minutes to get greeted. 2nd red flag it took 10 minutes to get 2 drinks. We ordered appetizer and another round of drinks. 20 minutes. We ordered our dinner about 10 minutes till 7, the duck leg and the tenderloin. 725, I start to worry.7.30 I am offered another singular , there's two of us, nextdoor we've been waiting so long. I will admit the restaurant had gotten considerably busier in that hour. About 7:35 our food finally arrived. The duck was fantastic, the tenderloin was cold. About 7:45 the free drink that I was promised to finally arrived. I'm still giving this restaurant four stars because I really didn't enjoy the atmosphere the drinks and the food, I was just disappointed in the wait time however ,that's just the restaurant business
