Rocco's New Orleans Style PO

An insultingly skimpy amount of catfish in my fried catfish basket for the high price of $18. What little there was was quite tasty though. Lack of catfish was made up for with generous portion of soggy french fries

I have say that I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed in my experience. Given all of the rave reviews I was really looking forward to a “great” PoBoy. Nice old-school restaurant/bar with counter service. I arrived before the lunch rush and decided on a half “grilled” Shrimp PoBoy. The young lady taking my order was not very receptive and placed my order as a whole sandwich. I just assumed they didn’t offer half sandwiches. The shrimp was barely cooked and appeared to be warmed in a pan… not grilled. The lettuce and tomatoes were ok and the bread was more of a soft loaf than a crisp French baguette. May need to give them a second chance and try something different. Just not impressed with the first impression.

RB Po boy has gone down. I've always felt like it was like home cooked roast beef, not deli beef & jar gravy. Today the beef was "OK", not deli, but ok. Gravy was NOT the gravy that went with home cooked roast. Meat & gravy was barely lukewarm. It took almost 30 minutes to get 1/2 poboy and onion strings. I understand inflation, but over $21 was definitely a "not again" moment. I used to look forward to eating there, not anymore.
