Wonderful dinner, great service. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. We sampled a number of items from the menu and all were delicious. The homemade ricotta with charred bread is a must. Reservations are needed unless you want to sit at the bar. Dine in: Yes … More
We each had something different main dishes and all of us loved our choices. Appetizers of octopus and ricotta toast were yummy! Service was outstanding! Front booth by the bar was a great location. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Rocco is a fantastic restaurant, but at this point owner/chef Mark Cupolo has built it into a Rochester institution and it would be tough to imagine Rochester without Rocco. Every item on the menu is as good as you can find in the area, but the pricing is very reasonable. For the same dish and quality, you'll pay more elsewhere. The atmosphere hasn't really changed over the years, and it doesn't need to. It feels old school and cozy. The perfect place for a porchetta sandwich!
