The owner/creator of this shop came into our entrepreneur class today at UWM and gave the most fascinating story of how roast came to be. He is a great guy and you should definitely check the shop out if you haven't already!
I think roast is the coziest coffee shop in milwaukee. They have a bunch of unique lattes and drinks that have something for everyone and change with the season; fall drinks consist of maple nut lattes, a harvest latte full of spice, and an apple chaider ????. On top of rotating drinks, they have rotating artwork that is always beautifully curated and representative of local artists, which is super cool. They even have plenty of muffins and scones and delicious breakfast sandwiches that are so tasty for such a nice price. The baristas are always so friendly too, I've never had a bad experience at roast!
