Rizzo's Italian Restaurant

The place is small. It does have a banquet room. The food is good, not spectacular. Our waitress was doing her best to keep up with her tables. She was very friendly and attentive. I gave 4 stars because I don't like being crowded/stuffed into a room.

We were referred to this restaurant by a Front Desk agent at an area hotel. My husband is Italian and loves going to Italian style restaurant. Apparently they don’t get too many black people and/or African American patrons. The staff seemed nervous coming to our table along with taking our order. I was the ONLY person of color in the restaurant and the staff & clientele was looking like we landed on the moon in shorts. It was really weird vibes for me. I don’t get those vibes often, it’s 2023 and my husband and I have been married over 30 years. The food was good, but me personally I would not go back. I like to relax when I eat and the atmosphere was to tense and not inviting for me.

This is a great little Italian restaurant. The service is good and the food is yummy. I always get the chicken spiedini. So tender. The lunch special comes with a salad and pasta. Give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed ????
