The place hasn't changed much since it was PERKINS. The booths and chairs are same. We were seated in a booth right next to where the cart for dirty dishes was? And a table full of condiments. That is not a good look? I felt the place could use a real deep cleaning. Service was great. Food was ok. My wife had the special of the day..Belgian waffle with strawberries and bananas. The waffle was so crispy and hard, you could hardly get a fork thru it. Bananas were brown and mushy and strawberries were mushy and black, that is not fresh fruit? My French toast was good, scrambled eggs were actually delicious farm eggs. Bacon was wobbly and fatty. Not crispy. I give it an average grade..menus need a good cleaning too. Would I give it another chance..yes.

stopped for lunch had breakfast. Would stop again. Loved the carved Bucky out front.

Stopped here after working 3rd shift on a Weds morning. It was slightly older inside, not really all that clean to be honest. The place was busy none the less. Lots of groups of older gents reliving stories from the past. Got seated right away, waitress was friendly and attentive. Didn't wait long to order and get the meal. Food was good, proper portions and hot. As I was eating I just kept seeing the hostess eat a bag of chips in one of the booths, big deal? No, but not clean no washing hands as she sat otber guests. Again, just didn't feel clean. Bathroom was small but realitively clean. If it would have been better taken care of I would have gone 4 stars just couldn't get there. In a pinch I would go back, hopefully to find a more sanitary environment because the food was pretty darn good.
