Riverfront Steakhouse

I truly enjoyed my visit at Riverfront Steakhouse. Our food was perfect everyone in our party of 9 loved the food and when it came to desert time I did a play on words when our AWESOME waiter asked about desert Stetson they had turtle cheesecake,and said I will have the snapping turtle cheesecake we all laughed and this wonderful waiter brought me this. I will be coming back here again thank you Riverfront for the great dining experience.

Hostess was slightly rude and seemed fairly incompetent, as well as she did not make the effort to properly greet us however we were promptly seated. The salad bar while having a wide variety of options to make a salad, had tongs where the food stuck to them and was a particular pain to operate. Our server Chip had a jocularity to him as well as a well met sense of humor and seemed to enjoy his position. Before the meal we enjoyed the delicious bread rolls, however, the taste reminded me of a cheap Hawaiian roll youd buy for a trashy thanksgiving party, which leads me to believe that they slided those rolls into a muffin tin so we wouldn't notice. For dinner we had the Chefs Special $60 Dinner For Two. On the steak the crust tasted almost entirely of peppercorn but the inside was juicy, the side of mushrooms tasted like it was drenched in avacado oil, and the onion ring that came with the meal fell apart when i touched it and the vegetables felt mediocre, the shrimp was however well br

Always great service and food. We are happy that the salad bar is back!!!! Our 'go to' Steakhouse.....
