Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken

I've driven by here hundreds of times and wanted to try them and today I did. The princess has the week off and I didn't feel like cooking breakfast so I picked up two biscuits breakfast sandwiches a side of cheese grits and a glazed blueberry biscuit for carry out. Everything was very impressive. The restaurant is very clean bright and full of good smells. We shared everything as usual. The food was hot and tasty I especially enjoyed the grits. The service was fast and friendly. I'll will definitely return to try the chicken as well as the biscuits and gravy.

I am thrilled we have this restaurant in our area. I ordered it to go and walked from the pharmacy I was working at today. Everything was hot and fresh. So tasty!! I had ordered before from DoorDash and the beignets were still hot. So I was very impressed. This place is great for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Nice staff too!!

Quality customer service defines this place! The staff is very, very kind and helpful. During my visit, the staff helped multiple elderly customers to their tables and held long conversations with them. I haven't heard of or experienced that type of courtesy in years! Every aspect of this place moves quickly. But plenty of tables and bar-style seating are available if you want to enjoy your meal leisurely. Also, the food has a leg up on your average breakfast restaurant. Chicken, okra, biscuits and gravy, and donuts are not your traditional combination of breakfast foods, but it works! Honestly, you couldn't ask for much more from a southern breakfast restaurant.
