We went as a family and we shared a little bit of everything. We started the meal with some tostones with chicken and empanadillas with guava and cheese. For the main entree I had the mofongo with shrimp and a side of Plantanos and it was so delicious. My wife ordered the Cubano sandwich and that too was very good. We will most definitely be coming back and we live over an hour away.
Service is slow and and food was disgusting. Both my daughter and I ended up with stomach aches from the bad food. I ordered the mofongo and it tasted like it was made in old used oil. My daughter ordered the Jibarito with chicken and said the only flavor the chicken had was that of spoiled chicken. The passion fruit shake was the only thing that tasted good. Even the empanadas were bad. Will never waste my money here again.
I went here for oxtails because after reading the reviews everyone said they were good. I got to the restaurant placed my order and said I wanted oxtails without rice I also ordered 2 empanadas. The cashier said for oxtails without rice they charge by the pound I said that was fine. I paid for my order and went to work. I opened my order for lunch only to find I had 4 small oxtails. I called back and the lady said that's what you get when you only order 1 pound. My order came to 35.00 for 4 oxtails and 2 empanadas. Talk about being scammed. And the food wasn't even that good.
