Rico's at Drake

We came to town for a soccer tournament and looked up the best wings in town and found Rico’s. The reviews did not disappoint. We had 2 orders of 4 flavors. Spicy bbq, Cajun dry rub, traditional and Korean. Every flavor tasted great. The fries were awesome too. The only disappointment was that we didn’t have room to try the catfish. Next time for sure. When you’re there, be patient and enjoy yourself. It’s a small staff so don’t be in such a hurry. But do go. The food is outstanding.

Our party of three went to Rico's around 1PM on a Monday. Besides 3 people at the bar, we had the place to ourselves. Despite that, all the tables were filthy, it took over 5 minutes just to be acknowledged. This place is a massive echo chamber...good luck having any conversation unless you yell. Food was decent. It's pretty typical quality bar food. I ordered an appetizer that was never made. When asked when our food came out, they asked for a few more minutes (so they could make it). Overall, I like the idea and love to bring business to the Drake neighborhood but they really need help with staffing and work on some sound dampening. Food wasn't horrible, but nothing to go out of the way for. Solid 2 1/2 stars.

Awesome staff and customers. We all liked our food and ate it so fast we didn't have time to eat get pic . Music was very loud though, couldn't have a conversation and everyone was yelling over the music. My.guests wanted to leave right away.
