Richie V's Chicago Eatery

Went for my second time. First visit was great, the second visit was even better. I prefer Richie's beef over Portillos. The option of having a mild or spicy giardiniera is nice. I go spicy. I also order my sandwich soaked/dipped. My first visit I thought it could have had more gravy, but this time it was perfect. They must have held in the gravy for a while, just how I like it! Fries have been cooked perfect both times. You definitely get the vibe that it's run by family and everyone is super friendly.

The only thing I would like to see is. The Italian beef needs to be on a larger piece of bread. The pizza puff, Italian ice,hot dog and fries were great!!! Parking: Mall parking. Great.

Great little spot for Italian Beef + Chicago dogs. Simple menu, but everything we tried was excellent. They also have bottled Green River pop which really brings back memories of the Chicago area. The place does have some inside seating- 4 regular tables + a high top along with bar type seating across the front. There is also ample seating outside with the misters going to help stay cool. We did have a bit of a tough time finding it as it does appear they've got a sign up yet, but just look for the bright yellow Vienna beef umbrellas to find it. We'll certainly be back for more!
