It used to be so much better. Seriously I would eat it every day for awhile. Now it’s mediocre and the customer service is no better. One time they gave me a box of fat. There was very little chopped brisket that I could identify, it was mostly fat and gristle. It was also super rare, as in it wasn’t cooked long enough. Then when I complained they gave me the “okay but this is a one time thing.” As if I was trying to con them out of a $9 meal. Otherwise it was good and still much better than Billy Sims.
Just love eating lunch here, the ribs are good, the temperature is always cold and the service is always friendly. I had the two-meat plus a side. Great price for the amount of food you get. I am leaving stuffed.
I threw them out. Saltiest ribs we’ve ever had. Tenderness was decent, but all we could taste was salt. We ordered both the “original dry rub” and the “sweet and sticky”. Neither made it past 3 ribs before ending up in the trash can. (Minus 2 stars.. 1 for each type of rib that sucked). It came with a few packets of sauce.. what can I say besides “who puts a bunch of liquid smoke (and corn syrup) in their sauce?!”. - 1 star. The fried okra and the salads were good, so you get stars for those. Please step away from the barbecue though. In the words of Mike Rowe: “Don’t follow your passion; do something you’re actually good at instead. Bring passion to that when you figure out what it is”. It’s not this.
