Rib City

Rib City North Fort Myers ~ has been recommended to us by many of our neighbors and friends. We finally had a chance to go yesterday and were not disappointed. Immediately greeted at the door and sat down. Restaurant was clean. Korina was our waitress and what a sweet gem. I got the smoked brisket lunch platter (best brisket in a very long time) with corn and fries and partner got ribs with baked beans and mac & cheese. We also split a basket of onion rings, DELISH. The sauces are also very good as well as the fresh brewed iced tea. Prices are very decent. Will be returning!!

While the food was good, I learned when I got home, that I paid a 4% service charge. When I called Rib City to find out what it was for, I was told it was for the plastic ware and BBQ sauce and napkins. I was not told any of this at the restaurant or when I called in the order. There seems to be a lack of transparency from the company. Also there was an increase in the price that I paid compared to the online prices I saw when I ordered. The online price should have been honored but it wasn't. I expect more from Rib City.

My wife liked her baby backs. My brisket dinner,not so much.Should brisket be very dry and salty? I wouldn't think so,for almost $20 this was very disappointing. If you can't deliver an acceptable product, maybe it shouldn't be offered to the customers.
