I had to visit this gem. The last time I was here was in 1974. My mother took there every Sunday after church for biscuits and hot chocolate. I must say this place still got it!! If you are ever in the valley you must stop in for breakfast, brunch or simply coffee and their amazing pastries. The chilaquiles and huevos rancheros were on point!
This place has been around since 1947 and I see why. The food is reasonably priced, it tastes great and you just get that old school feel of the place. Definitely going back.
We love coming here. My dad would bring me here to enjoy some breakfast & now I bring my son. When I ask him what he wants for breakfast he always says Rex Cafe! The coffee is always hot. The service is great. The beans used to be watery & the coffee cups were chipped & over used. However they have fixed those issues.
