Repeal Oak Fired Steakhouse

Repeal Oak-Fired Steakhouse was amazing. The elegance of the restaurant and the atmosphere was such a surreal feeling. The back history of this building and the new design of the restaurant was so cool. From the time you get to the outside of the restaurant you can smell the white oak fire in the air. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary there and couldn't of asked for a better experience. Our waiter was ANDREI and he was awesome and he made our night. The amount of time he spent with us at our table explaining the menu and the many options was great. You never felt rushed to make a decision or felt like they needed to turnover the table. This was truly an dinning experience. Joe the restaurant manager also stopped by on us on several occasions to check in with us to ensure a great experience. To top it all off they surprised us with a homeade bread pudding dessert with a Bourbon Glaze sauce on top that was to die for. I'd like to bottle that Bourbon Glaze and drink

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner with the excellent staff at Repeal. Our waitress, Loreal, was exceptional! I can’t say enough about the food and atmosphere. From drinks to appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious and perfectly prepared.

I will start off by saying our service was amazing. Our waitress was attentive and swift. The food was really high in quality, but the restaurant seem to have a obsession with salt. They sprinkle large grain sea salt on everything, even the bread was blanketed by it and same with our asparagus. I was surprised our bread pudding didn’t suffer the same fate. The main dish, the steak was cooked perfectly, the texture was amazing, except it was overpowered by salt. I will say the truffle pasta was amazing, the oysters we ordered were very fresh, and the bread pudding was a delight. I feel like they add the salt for aesthetics, when it’s absolutely not necessary. Their ingredients are high quality, they should trust in the natural flavor of the food. I would go back for the dessert and pasta, but I was not happy with their namesake steak.
