Rendezvous

We always love to have seafood while on vacation and glad this restaurant came up as an option in Fort Lauderdale. It was a rainy day and we did not sit outside facing the marina, but it seems like a good spot to do so. It is close to the I-95 overpass, so you have to make sure you pay attention for the street to turn. Also, you have to go all the way to the back to the marina and it shares the location with the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess and sat right away. We decided to stay inside and it worked out well. It is a bit small inside with a bar in the middle. It is cozy, nicely decorated and welcoming. Chris our server was friendly, funny, answered our questions and made good suggestions. We ordered the New Englad Clam Chowder, the Octopus Appetizer (special), the Conch Platter (amazed to have pieces of conch and not a big fried ball of dough!) and the Whole Stuffed Florida Lobster (special). Great seating outside, Mike was super nice and the food was very delicious. They should definitely have higher ratings was so glad we chose to come here. Lobster Mac was home made and not kraft mac n cheese like other restaurants.

Everything we had was Delicious! Seafood Spinach Dip was way better than I thought. Tuna was fresh and yummy. Steak ka bob things was nice and flavorful! Drinks were good too. It's a little pricier than most places I think, but the quality of food, is also better than most places. I'm sure about the quality of the food. Having had some great apps there, I'm definitely willing to try some new things there.
