Never disappoints. Flavors just as I remember from 14 years ago when I first discovered this jewel in Maryland. Top notch meatloaf and this dessert is addictive.
Absolutely fantastic experience. First off, the service. Deion was serving me and she was fantastic. She gave the appropriate amount of interaction. Not too much small talk, but enough to be engaging. She brought my food and drink quickly, and was super pleasant during my visit. Secondly, the food. All around the food was spot on. I ordered devilled eggs, shrimp cocktail, cornbread, and apple crisp a la mode for dessert. A bit of a mix because I wanted to try a lot of options on the menu. The devilled eggs were amazing. You could really taste the relish they made it with. The shrimp cocktail was good. Their cocktail sauce was spot on. There was also a....mustard???....sauce. I wasn't to keen on that. But the cornbread stole the show. I'm from Ohio, and have had a lot of fresh cornbread from the Amish country. But this was possibly the best cornbread I've ever had. Big shout out to Deion again for hooking me up with the cornbread. Three words of advice if you eat here...Get...The...Corn
First time dining here and the experience and atmosphere was amazing! We went an hour before closing and it was perfect, not crowded whatsoever and it felt cozy. Ordered the chicken fried chicken and I mentioned that I was just going to share with my bf. Our server (Trey) brought two plates and said he had them split it for us and that was really awesome because we didn't think to ask. Drinks were great! Service was great and food was really good, we definitely will be coming back and get dessert next time. Below is the picture of my plate, my bf had the same portion so I'm thinking their portions are really large :)
