Red Sake Japanese Restaurant

We may have discovered our permanent sushi spot. The service, atmosphere, and delicious, home-cooked meals were all top-notch, and we had a wonderful time. The assistance, friendliness, and consideration shown by Kevin was really appreciated. We ate every last morsel of the unlimited sushi and hibachi amongst the three of us. You won't find a better value than this in terms of both price and quality. The experience was excellent, and we can't wait to come again.

The staff leaves much to be desired. A number of them stand around staring out the window or huddle up by the bar to talk yet infrequently visit their tables and are slow to collect the food orders. If you are looking to be in and out within a restricted timeframe, save your visit to the restaurant for another time. You will not be satisfied with service. For the price, the selections of sushi and hibachi were great. We thoroughly enjoyed both although, my steak was rather fatty and I was unable to eat several pieces. I was not charged extra for not eating it all (a rather ridiculous concept). I did not eat a second serving because I ordered appetizers, sushi, and hibachi and was rather full. The sushi was very fresh. I would try more options but I am new to eating sushi and am not going to pay additional fees for leftovers. I did get a side of spicy mayo to enhance my picks. Overall, the food was good enough to return.

We were wiped out after a lacrosse tournament and starving. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was incredible. Our server was awesome and a former rugby player. Everything we ate was delicious. We wish we had a Red Sake in Tennessee.
