Always an awesome experience. Food and atmosphere is amazing. Beautiful place inside. Not crazy expensive for what u get. Had the shrimp ???? Gorgonzola pasta and oh my goodness was it ever delicious ????. So rich and creamy. Shrimps r big, not tiny ones as some other places. Love it. One of my favorite places. Kid-friendliness: Nice family place. Wheelchair accessibility: Open atmosphere to accommodate persons that need special care.
There was a "25 minute wait" that ended up being less for a table. We got Spicy Buffalo Tenders as an Appetizer and a Small Pepperoni with Onion Pizza (pizza is big for a small) The waitress was very good and on point with dealing with various tables. Food was delicious and good portions. The Tenders were not spicy but had a small kick to them which didn't burn your whole mouth. Pizza was fresh and tasty wity delicious flavor. Definitely recommend trying if in the area.
I've lived outside Springfield for about 10 years and never visited the Red Rose. I have heard great things but didn't want the hassle of driving into the city. I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. It was just my wife and me. We both got small pizzas... But they are not "small". Each could easily feed 2-3 people. So needless to say we had some leftovers. House Salad was very good. Can easily share with a party of 4-6. Dressing was light and tasty. Pizza is what the red Rose is known for and it did not disappoint. Sauce and crust were both excellent. It isn't a thin crust NY Style... It is a little thicker but still crispy on the underside with a good chew. A+ I highly recommend and will be returning with the kids. The menu is so much more than pizza. If you like Italian fare this is your place. Portions are very generous and the prices are fair. Parking: Dedicated parking lot and on street parking. Parking lot can fill up during peak times
