Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

As a lifelong lover of Red Robin, this place is super depressing now. This location used to be one of the highest grossing restaurants in the northwest, and now it’s just barely staggering along. They’ve entirely given up staffing an entire wing (almost half) of the restaurant, it’s been permanently closed for years now. The remaining area is still fairly large, but even on a Saturday night it will be less than half full. I went in tonight (Sat) at about 6, and I’d estimate 20% of tables were full. There was nonetheless an inexplicable 15 minute wait to be sat. There were 4 hosts working the front stand, all doing nothing, mostly standing around. Who is managing this place? We had several issues with the service, all of which boil down to the staff being bored and clueless. For example, my burger came out with literally no patty, it was just bread and toppings, lol. Same question, who is managing the kitchen? It was similarly odd having to ask the food runner for a fork when she dropp

We sat in the bar area for several minutes before someone came up to use and asked if we had been helped yet. We said no. He immediately got us menus and drink order. Then every time he passed us , he checked in. Towards the end it got really busy. We were done and I paid at the kiosk on the table. I had just finished paying when he was able to bring us the bill. He was happy that we didn't insist on waiting for him. I wish I could remember his name. He was super nice and friendly.

This is a very nice Red Robin! The tables were seated comfortably apart. The music wasn't overly loud and the lighting is great. The service was attentive and the food came out quickly. I had the fish and chips. I don't know why I order that at any restaurant cuz it's not a dish I particularly enjoy but this one had big pieces of fish. It took two meals for me to finish and I liked it. And they know how to do onion rings, that's for sure!
