Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Music started entirely too loud until I said something; worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant, and at any Red Robin specifically. Server wanted to wait on cleaning up a mess that I tended to. My child would have slipped trying to get back into his seat because of the lack of care from this server. We couldn’t wait for a manager, but spouse did give a review on payment device at table explaining more details to the time we patronized.

We went to Red Robin located by Southlake Mall in Merrillville/Hobart area. We arrived after shopping at approximately 8:50. As we entered, the hostess told us that they were only taking carry out orders. I asked why the sign on the door said they were open till 10 and the girl replied ,"we are but our waitress is going home at 9!" We asked to speak to the manager on duty at that point. When the manager came to speak with us, she told us that the GM had only scheduled the waitress and the her till 9pm and her exact words were, "What can I do about it, nothing!" I've never experienced this from a restaurant or manager in my life. We went over to Chili's and they were very happy to take our business. I called corporate today and was talk after speaking to the guest relations that the district manager, who I asked to speak to originally, will call me within 48 hours. We will see.... So disappointed because we used to love going there to eat.

We came in with the big group. They took care of us quickly and the food was good. No complaints from me. Food : 4/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
