I think this location has been around for close to over 30 years and the exterior shows it but the management and staff work to maintain the establishment well. We visited for lunch. Upon entry, the dimness of the interior is striking and takes some getting used to. Over time, your eyes will adjust and perhaps you'll notice how well maintained the dining area is. Atmosphere is upscale late 90s or early 2000s decor. Given the ecelectic diversity of the SF Bay area, the menu selection is somewhat limited, but Red Lobster is a national chain, so corporate management dictates what's on the menu. We had the fish tacos, fried flounder sandwich, fish and chips, & stuffed flounder. It took a while before the food arrived....perhaps the kitchen is short staffed. Overall the food is good. The cooks do what they can with the menu they have to work with... and the food looks presentable. Taste wise, nothing is bad. Service from our friendly waitress was good. Bathrooms are quite clean. This was my wife's choice for her birthday, and I was completely shocked at how good everything was. No waiting, (arrived at 4 p.m.), and we were seated away from other people near the window. our waitress (Arriana, I think), was amazing. Quick food prep, accurate order, delicious food, (Lobster Lover's Feast). Even the price was reasonable, I spent more money at the "Fish Market" the day before, and she did not like the food. Finally, a beautiful ice cream sundae for desert, with a plate that had "Happy Birthday" drizzled on it. Great experience from start to finish.
Food was great. Not salty at all. There were so many people waiting for the table. It would be better have reservation first. Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More
