Since leaving PA last year...my hubby and I were seriously distraught at the lack of "Chinese" food. Most of the time, if someplace has it...it is a deep fried grease ball with rice. This restaurant (as bad as it looks) is AMAZING! Even their crab cakes (I know...not Chinese food...but that is kinda their thing) are very tasty. The place looks scary...but MAN THEIR FOOD! Go! Now!
My frequent go to for Chinese dishes, fried chicken wings are great alone with fried rice, triple delight with tofu...so good!
There's simply no other way to slice it: Red House is the finest Chinese food around and can utterly stand on its own with the finest sit-down Chinese cuisine. Seems most people order carry-out as their interior leaves much to be desired, but this rating/review is based strictly on the food, which is divine.
