Red Crab - Juicy Seafood

Our experience here was quite the mixed bag. Some of the food was absolutely delicious and some was so bad we spit it out. For instance, the fried calamari appetizer was atrocious. Most of the pieces tasted old and gummy. And the clam chowder, while not bad, is more of a potato soup than a clam chowder. It didn’t have the rich thickness and there were barely any clams, though I must’ve had at least two whole potatoes. Again, it didn’t taste bad, but it wasn’t what I ordered. The fried shrimp, though, was amazing: light and crispy, with just the right amount of spice. And the boil we got was tasty as well, with the lobster tail being a particular delight. But all the sides were very middling and the potatoes were a little undercooked. And the service leave much to be desired. They weren’t rude, but we were essentially ignored after ordering. With the food being so hit-or-miss, I don’t think we’ll be trying it again.

Good food but only had one waitress and she was working her butt off.

Went back the next weekend 87/2021 completely different experience, the waitress checked on us multiple times and the other one was no where to be found. Great food, great service! 7/31/2021 The person who greeting us was very friendly, set us down, there was no wait and she even complimented me on my outfit. We ordered and the food, there was not a long wait before receiving it. All the food, shrimp, crab legs, corn, muscles, and potatoes had a lot of flavor and the seasoning on everything was just right, extremely tasteful! Only problem we had was our waitress never checked on us for anything. I saw her check on her one other table with four people at least 3 times (actually more). She brought our drinks, took our order and never came back. Someone else brought the bucket for shells, the bib, etc., and explained what everything was that she'd given us. Next time I'll listen and use the bib but I can't eat with plastic gloves on but I see why you need them, lots of flavor in the butto
