Ray's Diner

Been going here for the past few months. The staff is very friendly and have good customer service. There’s so much to choose from!!! The fish & grits and turkey wing dinners are my favorite. The deserts are good also. Would high recommend if you want country soul food cooking . Very affordable!!!

We took a detour on our way to Charleston and it was totally worth it!! The grits were amazing, creamy and delicious. The hash browns were the best part. So flavorful with a crispy outside and a tender inside. The staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Wish we lived closer, we would eat here all the time!

This would be a 5 star review, because the food, character and company of this restaurant establishment is all on point! Having said that, I had to detract one point regarding the atmosphere. Specifically (not trying to be mean, just trying to be honest), the table was really sticky from the last patron. It never got wiped down, not did anyone offer. It was also really hot inside, maybe 80 degrees. Other than that, the food and service was great and we had an amazing meal! Kid-friendliness: They were kind when my wife was still nursing, and incredibly thoughtful about it.
