Ragazzi's Pizza & Restaurant

I've been a few times as someone who works in the area, and if you're not looking to take 2 and a half hours for lunch, all to serve mediocre food, I'd avoid Ragazzi's. Most times I've entered, standing there, waiting for 20 minutes, hoping for someone to notice me, all to have to flag someone down - just to even get attention. The wait continues in ordering a drink, and it won't stop there (remember, 2.5 hours). When you do get your order, your drinks will be warm, and your food will be cool. You'll be hoping for the check, just to get back to your day and have this experience end. Now, I know what you're thinking - lunch rush, super busy? No. This is even with two tables seated in the restaurant. Order to go? Add an hour to your order, otherwise you'll be stuck sitting there in the restaurant, waiting for your food to be done. Not sure if the staff just doesn't care, or if everyone is secretly sloths, but if you want good food and quick service, go to Tornatore's up the street. -2/10

Wife and I were up in the area for a doctor appointment and afterwards were in the mood for pizza. I looked on Google maps and saw this place which had some goods reviews. We went and to be honest it was just ok. Being from new york we KNOW pizza and this was just ok. We wouldn't go out of our way for this pizza. The crust was too thick and didn't have that crisp snap when you bit into it. Sauce was ok, not great, and wasn't enough.

I heard such great reviews and went for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and the staff was extremely nice. I order the lunch special, 2 slices of pizza and a salad (not pictured). One slice was topped with ricotta cheese and the other with meatballs (paid extra for the toppings) Trust me the salad was the best part of the meal. The pizza was luke warm (I’m being generous) and it taste like it was just sitting around all day and they just zapped it in the microwave. I gave them a 2 because like I said the staff was extremely friendly and I enjoyed my salad.
