Rafael's Mexican Restaurant

It was edible. I had Taquitos plate with rice and beans. I wasn't impressed. No flavor taquitos.. I didn't pay i was invited. I still think the bill was too expensive for the very plain food.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is authentic and so delicious. They always attend me fast and I love how their chips and salsa are always fresh!

I ordered the albóndigas soup. It’s not made with a tomato base like some albóndigas soups are but it hit the spot anyway. It has a great authentic taste. I just wouldn’t dine in because it didn’t seem clean and decor is outdated. Also, be aware they’ve raised their prices by at least $2/item since the pandemic. For those prices I’m expecting not to question the cleanliness of a restaurant. Staff seemed to be polite and recognized some of the regulars by name which is nice for them. If they would fix up and maintain the place at the same quality of food, they would have that place packed on a regular basis.
