We stopped in Quaker Steak & Lube this afternoon while passing through the area and waited for some time to be waited on. While waiting, we noticed the young lady that came to wait on us was the same person that had been cooking. I asked if she was working by herself and she stated no, her manager was there working as well. Two, yes TWO people were running this store! Ya know, she could have been bitter, but was friendly and kind as well as a pleasure to chat with. People, like this young woman and her manager are the glue that is keeping this country going. The young lady was very kind, the food was very good and I hope this review might get them some recognition and a raise!
I ordered the 12 pc wings mild, and the wings were a nice size, but they didn't have any flavor to them. This is the 2nd time I have tried this place, and everything seems to be full of grease???? The fries are very good.
Burgers were ok, but small. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to register to take my order which they got wron. Even longer to receive order. Employees seemed more interested in talking to each other then servicing their customers. Updat: Tried again, service was a little better. Burger still waaay to small for the price, and the boneless wings are pitifull. Plus, they forgot dipping sauce. Will not be coming back.
