Very fair prices, a bit of a wait for your order though you might want to order ahead. Overall good pupusas
Pupusas of chicharron y queso were so good. The curtido can use a little more flavor but overall it was tasty. I also tried their empanadas de leche and omg they were probably the best ones I've ever had. The service was great, the man who took my order was very welcoming and friendly. I had a few questions and he answered them kindly.
Skip this place…. I’d recommend LA CEIBA restaurant that is also on Compton, the staff is very polite and attentive and the food is also very good. Pupusas El Salvador has Horrible service. The man taking over the phone orders is very rude and will not take your order, in fact he will say things like “ you’ve called before, and never pick up your order” he needs a better system in place. He’s done this to multiple people I know, and I’ve read reviews with a similar occurrence . You shouldn’t treat your customers like that.
