The food is delicious. The best chicken EVER. The Blackberry citrus tea yummy. We were there when the music started and it was great. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Recommend this place even if you have to wait.
The fried pickles are awesome. The half rack of ribs was fine, not the best I’ve had but good. My wife’s salad was tasty. The baked beans were great, as was the cornbread. The fruit tea was wonderful. Not a huge fan of the potato salad. It was busy but everything tasted fine and came out reasonably quick. Just wish I liked the ribs more.
A must visit iconic restaurant in downtown Nashville. Nice wooden interiors & rock & roll vs. country memorabilia adorned the spacious setting. The fried catfish was delicious & all the wonderful side dishes were good too. Although i recall they had small pancakes instead of cornbread, it was different. I believe staffing was short-handed the day we went. There was a bit of a wait-time to get seated. We had to flag another waitress at the end of our meal for the bill bc our main waiter was nowhere to be found. All in all, we had a good time & plan to be back.
