Proper Brick Oven & Tap Room

Stopped in here unexpectingly when a baseball game was rained out. We are from out of town and didn't look at reviews. The host told us it was the best pizza in town. He wasn't wrong! We had the Greek pizza and it was delicious. 1 pizza was enough for the 2 of us. We noticed that people around us that ordered a pizza each were taking about half the pizza home. They also have a good selection of beers and they allow a few generous samples to help you decide which beer to select. Highly recommend!

Amazing pizza and fantastic selection of beers and cocktails. I opted for a Porter and an Imperial Stout - neither of which disappointed, and then treated myself to a spiked hot chocolate at the end which really hit the spot and was delicious. Extremely fast and friendly service. Just an overall great experience. I will definitely be back. 5 ⭐️ | HIGHLY recommend.

Every time we visit Pittsburgh we eat at a different restaurant. Proper Brick Oven has a great tap list and the bartenders were great. The bacon candy was a bit over priced for what you get. The pesto pizza, however, was outstanding and well worth the price. The crust was excellent.
