Houston’s best kept Italian secret. The BEST chicken Marsala and pasta here, from an Italian. Nothing tastes more authentic than this. Not only is the food absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere is incredible, a romantic patio and there’s even live music sometimes. My best recommendations are the bruschetta, Marsala, risotto, chicken Parmesan, and fried zucchini. (They even have spumoni ice cream!!) Entrees, apps and wine are perfectly priced. I love this place so much, I’ve been here for my birthday and Vday. Coming to sit outside and have a glass of wine on the patio is perfect and a great date night.
-Felt unwelcome Walked in and the staff/ owners were behind the bar just staring at us. Awkward hello. -Wait staff was mediocre We got our own utensils, straws only brought to us when asked, water refilled only at the end. We bought a lot of food and food itself was good but would not return due to feeling uncomfortable at first impressions. Food got you the second star but their is similar food in many other places with better hospitality.
