The food and the service was excellent. The host was polite, well dressed, and welcoming. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. I had the breakfast poutine which was awesome. The pork and cheese curds on it were delicious. I tried the ham and cheese sandwich my bf ordered. The french toast bread made it over the top delicious. The mimosas were small but tasty. Overall a great brunch experience here.
I've never had an average meal here, always top notch. Service is always good with a knowledgeable waiter/waitress staff. Prices are expected for the quality of the food. We had the omelette with rosemary potatoes on the side as well as the biscuits and gravy with chicken and both were amazing as always. They have a very diverse selection of food and drinks. If you're in the mood for something different from your typical breakfast place then Prep and Pastry is your place. Parking: Parking is available but tight since they share with other businesses.
First impression wasn't the best. The bench seat upholstery was very worn and my hubby sat there so bits wouldn't get on my dress. There wasn't a lot of room behind my seat so every person that went past brushed up against me. However, the food was delicious! I had classic french toast without almonds (I am allergic). The pieces were thick and right at the line between bready and eggy. My hubby had a poblano verde benny. He loved the flavor but said he hated the biscuit underneath because it was too crumbly. However he RAVED about the potatoes. They were creamy inside and lightly crispy outside with lots of salt and rosemary.
